So often when one party breaks from the relationship, the one who was caught off guard prays for a reprieve or hopes the other to come their senses. However, if your estranged beloved asks to remain FRIENDS, be on the alert and say, NOT REALLY. The reason is no matter how much you love him or her, they are well aware that keeping you as friend puts you in check. That way if their new love does not work out they can fall back on you. Don't let that happen. So as hard as it is to make a clean break, it is the only way to protect your heart and let you heal. How can you move on if you can't let go?
